Huw's Halloween party last night involved carving pumpkins. I'd never actually done this before and it was surprisingly smelly and slimy, but like the rest of the party very entertaining :-)
What I had said was: this post made me laugh. It's particularly gross when you pull out the pumpkin seeds, wash them up and bake them, only to find out they taste yummy!
I'm really enjoying your photos. And I'm particularly delighted to find another Anne of Green Gables fan!
