More Threads of Sound

Some more shots from last Friday. They look a bit blurry here, actually. You might be better looking at them on flickr...

Tired Out

It's a hard life being a baby with the paparazzi round for coffee...

Threads of Sound

I was out taking photos on Friday night at Graham's Threads of Sound gig at Stereo, featuring Miss The Occupier, Odeon Beat Club and Nanobots. They were all really good - it's unbelievable how many chords some people can play, and without any pauses to mutter 'bugger!' in between either... More pics may appear later.

More Comparative Fame!

This time surprisingly-popular-umbrella-photo has made it onto Flickr Art in Black and White. Apparently this means it is extremely resistant to people wanting to get rid of it. I've never quite understood why this photo is so popular, but I'm glad folk like it :-)

Experiments in flight

I've been trying to do a photo like this for a while. I don't think it's quite right yet, but it's getting there. Further experiments will no doubt ensue.

The flying books are actually all The Red Fairy Book, which has one of my favourite fairy-stories, The Twelve Dancing Princesses, in it. I'm not sure why it always appealed to me so much, but it did. Although I re-read a couple of the other stories when I got hold of this copy recently and had terrible nightmares. I was clearly made of sterner stuff when I was nine...

Comparative Fame!

One of my photos won the May Cover Contest on flickr's Black and White Dreams group! Actually, I'm not sure what this means...but I thought it was quite exciting anyway :-) (Just checked - if you scroll down the front page of the group the photo's there being the cover photo along with this one).
