I think Gmail picked up on my complaints about the cat being excessively boisterous recently (between her and the seal at work, my hands are shredded) because it put up an advert for Soft Claws. These appear to be wee plastic covers you put over your cat's claws to prevent scratching. I'm not convinced though, and I can only imagine what my hands would look like by the time I'd got them all on to her.
I would like to point out that the cat in the photo is not Wimsey, and looks just about as pissed-off as you might imagine a cat wearing false nails would...

Pretty well gathered that it wasn't Wimsey; you'd never get near her to get those on unless you shot her with a tranquilliser first, then she'd just chew them off in a rage..
And chew me with them :-(
