Balancing the books


Spent yesterday evening learning to do this. The resultant picture is not without its faults, but once I've refined my technique to enable me to balance a pile of books on one finger in the 10 seconds allowed by the camera timer, I should be able to try some shots without the remote control...

Sandy and the Painted City

Last week I wandered up the Lighthouse to photograph Glasgow poet Sandy Hutchison, who had bravely volunteered himself as a photo-victim. Unfortunately Mr. Scales' Dog is also so old that he cannot exist that far above sea level and had not accompanied us...
