This was a wildly busy week on the gigs front as Threads had lined up recordings of two shows. First up was Session A9 at the Concert Hall, as part of Celtic Connections. I'd heard them a few years ago at the Old Fruitmarket and they were just as impressive this time, however the gig was uncommonly hard on the knees as we could only shoot the first three songs from the centre and had to crounch down so as not to block the audience's view. This would probably have been less problematic if I hadn't a) tripped and cut my knee the previous day, and b) worn knee-high boots (because of the snow) which made it hard to bend my ankles and caused me to emit squeaking noises every time I moved...
