On a quick visit to London last week I managed to catch up with Jonathan's underground wind-harp installation: three to four. A wind-harp is placed on the roof of The Foundry and the sound then fed down into a resonator in the basement with coloured lights determined by the harp's output projected onto the walls.
The sound is a mixture of the harp itself, plus the vibrations of the building and it's affected by both the weather conditions and traffic and so on going past. Luckily for me it started raining heavily while I was there, which gave a kind of steel-drum symphony with a touch of glissando effect...
You can have a listen to a short recording here, or get the coloured lights as well with this short film.
