A "muriel" on the wall of the shipyards in Govan... Posted by Picasa

Stopped off in Govan on the way home today to take some pictures of the statues outside the disused Kvaerner shipyards. Oddly enough the folk in Govan take very kindly to photographers, and smile and wave and blow their horns as they go past. One woman even shouted across the road that her wee boy wanted me to take his picture, so I did. Bizarre. You could take pictures elsewhere in the city until you were blue in the face and no one would really notice... Posted by Picasa

Rocking horse outside "The Glory Hole" in Dowanside Lane. This is truly one of the world's weirdest shops. It generally reminds me of the palace of the Gnome King in one of the "Oz" books, which consists of a huge cavern entirely filled with bric-a-brac. Posted by Picasa

The Duke of Wellington outside the Gallery of Modern Art. Unfortunately neither he nor his horse have got their traffic cones on. Posted by Picasa

I think this might be him again. Posted by Picasa
